Arjun and Anjali get anxious over her question but Arjun manages to make a story by telling her that Prithvi is his college friend and is right now in the US.

Biji gets convinced by this information and says that the name ‘Prithvi’ has been an omen for their family and they lost many bonds and even people because of him.

Arjun sympathizes with her and gets sad because he can not comfort her pain and tell her that Biji should not cry because Karan is here with her.

Anjali looks at Karana and thinks if he stays even for a little bit longer here then he will be carried away in his emotions and Biji will get suspicious.

Therefore, she manages to find an excuse to take Arjun aka Karan with her.
